Podium:
The podium at the Metroplex Challenge is the same measurements as the podium used by USA Gymnastics for USA Championships, World Championships, and the 1996 Olympics.

Who competes on podium:
All Women Level 10’s, Elites and Hopes. 

Equipment:
All AAI

Entry:
Due date Thanksgiving, November 27th 2008
NO deposit required

Entry Fee:
Level 2 -3 $55
Level 4-6 $75
Level 7 – Elite and Hopes $100

Team Entry:
Team competition for all Levels 2-Elite
Top 3 scores count per gym per level
Teams will only compete with other teams in their session
Team entry $40 per team per level

Training:
Training will be open for all gymnasts from 5:00pm – 9:00pm Friday. Training is open NOT structured. Please train in the gym you will be competing in. Only Gymnasts competing in the arena will be allowed to train in the arena.
There will NOT be a shuttle on the day of training.  It’s approximately a 10 minute easy walk from the hotel.

Elite Session:
Elites will compete Saturday night in the arena on podium.
All events will have timed warm-up before march-in, starting on your 2nd competition event, as done at Championships.  Elites will be judged following current FIG rules.

Hopes Session:
Hopes will compete in the arena on podium. Hopes will be judged on current hopes rules set forth by USAG.
Timed warm ups and competition time will be determined by number of entries.

Elite Ticket:
All coaches from all clubs will get an all access pass to all sessions.

Coaches Party:
Saturday Night after the elite session (9:00pm – 2:00am) we will have a coaches / judges party. The party is at the top of Reunion Tower Ball attached to the Hyatt Regency. Just take the elevator up from the lobby of the hotel. Even better when the party’s over or you’ve had all you can handle, take the elevator back down to your room. Come enjoy a great view of Dallas from atop the Reunion Tower. OPEN Bar, hors d’oeuvres & Live music provided by Metroplex.

Competition Days:
The meet will be Saturday & Sunday.
We will NOT have any Friday Sessions.

Shuttle:
Saturday and Sunday there will be a FREE 3 stop shuttle. The 3 stops will be the Hyatt Regency Hotel, Dallas Convention Center & the West End (Restaurants / Shopping)
Shuttle is for all Metroplex Challenge Gymnasts, parents, coaches, Judges & fans.

Hotel:
We strongly recommend all coaches and gymnasts families stay at the Dallas Hyatt Regency. This is the only hotel that will have a special rate for the meet and the only Hotel that will be on the shuttle route.
